Ports & Harbours

HBPW has extensive experience in marine design consultancy, having undertaken numerous projects across the ports and harbours sectors. Notable projects include the design of two pontoons and a permanent mooring facility in the Humber Estuary for ocean-going tugs at Immingham, and the design and detailing of a jetty to support roll trailers and forklift trucks at Henderson Quay in Immingham. Director Paul Withers led the design of berthing dolphin BD5, the largest in Europe, and the Eastern Bullnose structures at ABP Hull.
